Social Media Management Tools That Will Save You
In this blog, I have you covered. I have collected two typical
social media management tools that can essentially help you create content in a
short time, manage social media accounts being used, and understand their
performance in very simplified and straightforward ways.
2 Social Media Management Tools To Save You
Hootsuite
Buffer
1 Hootsuite
Hootsuite is one of the most pinpointed social media management tools on different listicles. Founded by Ryan Holmes in 2008, Hootsuite serves to curate content, schedule posts, measure ROI, and manage team members. Hootsuite has sensational features that help serve both social media management and email marketing roles at the same time. As a social media management tool, Hootsuite offers options of scheduling posts/tweets to be shared on YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest. With this feature, a user has the capability to set when the post will be shared, and select on what social networks the post will be shared.
Hootsuite makes social media analytics easier. You don't need to check across all different social media networks to understand how your posts/tweets worked. Hootsuite will simply show the number of likes, comments, shares/retweets, views, clicks and mentions that you gained from each post under each social network. It goes much farther giving you comparisons between certain times (that you can select), to see whether you're doing well, or falling behind.
Hootsuite allows you to share all sorts of posts such as photos, videos, text, and will give you possibilities to edit photos or videos before publication. It first gives you a preview option to see what your post will look like, under each selected social network where you want it to be shared. This allows you make any changes or corrections from your social media accounts/pages, which is also done all at once, not editing for each social network separately.
Hootsuite has a free
plan that you can use. However, it doesn't allow you to connect more than two
social networks. If you need to use more than two social networks, you will
need to start with pay plans.
2 Buffer
Defined as a web and mobile software application designed for managing social networks, Buffer is among the top rated social media management tools that both large and small businesses use. Buffer is used thanks to its amazing and simple, yet important features that it holds. Buffer has a feature that allows users to schedule posts to be shared at the specific time the user wishes. Buffer is mostly used because of the fact that it works with Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Instagram Stories, Facebook, and Pinterest, the highly used social networks.
Moreover, I recommend it due to its support with social media analytics given to users. With Buffer features, you can easily see the number of likes, clicks, shares, retweets, and mentions gained from each post. Buffer goes further by giving you defaulted suggestions of when to post depending on when users of certain social networks you use are online. However, these time slots are editable, so you can reset, should there be a need.
Buffer has a free version that gives all the above-mentioned features, and they can be used all the time. With the free version, you are only allowed to post on two social networks. However, it has paid versions like Buffer Pro and Buffer for Businesses that will add you additional functions like having teams on the application, managers specified capabilities and more in-depth social media analytics to understand how your work is going. Buffer is a service I highly recommend.
Although, there are numerous social
media management tools that can help you. However, the two listed above will be
much more helpful and easier for you and your team.
